Meet Our Dental Hygienists
Hannah - Registered Dental Hygienist
Hannah has been a valued and greatly appreciated member of Dr. O'Leary's team since 2004. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BS in Dental Hygiene and has built lasting relationships with patients throughout her career.
"The best things about my job are my awesome co-workers, seeing patients who have been with me for years, and meeting new faces along the way" she says.
A Concord NC native, Hannah enjoys life with her husband, Wayne, and their son, Wyatt. Outside the office she loves family time and traveling.
Kristene – Registered Dental Hygienist
Kristene is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been in dentistry for over 20 years and has been with our office since 2020. She truly enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel comfortable.
Originally from Connecticut, Kristene graduated from the University of New Haven, where she was born and raised. She has been married to her husband, Eric, for 14 years whom she met on a blind date. They live in the Troutman, NC area. In her free time, Kristene enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, and traveling whenever she can.
Robin – Registered Dental Hygienist
Robin grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and currently lives in Catawba. She graduated from CPCC and has worked in the dental field for 31 years. She truly enjoys getting to know her patients and helping make their dental visit feel less stressful and more comfortable.
When Robin is not in the office, she is enjoying spending time with her three boys. She loves traveling, sports, and spending time on the beach to unwind.
Lynsey – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lynsey has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2006 and with our office since 2018. She truly enjoys building relationships with her patients and their families, while helping them achieve their dental health goals.
Originally from Mooresville, North Carolina, Lynsey married her high school sweetheart, Will. They have two boys, Maddox and Mason, who keep them busy with sports and outdoor adventures. In her free time, Lynsey enjoys spending time with her family, camping and being active in her church.
Meet Our Dental Assistants
Nayrovy – Dental Assistant to Dr. Sophie
Nayrovy has worked in Dentistry since 2018. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles.
Originally from Mexico, Nayrovy and her husband Jessey have been married since 2018, and have two beautiful boys. She enjoys spending time with family, going on hikes, and visiting parks.
Lynnette – Dental Assistant to Dr. Metty
Lynnette is a CDA and has been with Dr. O'Leary since 2020. Originally from New Brunswick, Canada, she and her family moved to the US in 2003. She has many years of experience in Periodontics and General Dentistry. Lynnette primarily works with Dr. Metty.
Lynnette and her husband Allan have two grown children. Away from work she enjoys travelling, biking, and skiing.
Whitney – Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Huntersville NC, Whitney is a dedicated Dental Assistant who truly enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smiles. Creating a positive experience for every patient is one of the most rewarding parts of her career, she loves building lasting relationships while helping others improve their dental health and confidence.
Outside of the office, Whitney enjoys staying active and making the most of the outdoors. Whether she's playing pickleball, spending time outside, or enjoying new adventures, she loves living an active and balanced lifestyle. Above all, being a mom is her greatest joy, and she cherishs every moment spent with her family. Whitney's passion for helping others, combined with her energetic and caring personality, shines through in both her professional and personal life.
Jessi – Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina, Jessi has proudly worked as a dental assistant for more than 10 years, helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smiles. She truly enjoys building relationships with patients and being part of a team that makes a positive difference in people’s lives every day. Jessi's passion for dentistry comes from caring for others and creating a welcoming experience for everyone who walks through the door.
Outside of the office, She is a proud mom to her beautiful and adventurous daughter, who shares her love for animals. Their home is always full of fun and excitement thanks to their dog and two cats who keep life entertaining. When she's not working, you can usually find her outdoors hiking, exploring new places, and enjoying the beauty of nature. Jessi especially loves visiting national parks and making memories through new adventures and experiences with family and friends.
Johanna – Dental Assistant to Dr. O’Leary
Johanna has been in the dental field since 2002. She attended CPPCC Dental Assisting and has DAII and CDA training and certification with an Associates Degree in Health Science.
She is originally from Syracuse, NY and she has a son, Jordan who was born in 2016. She also has 2 dogs. She loves running, working out, being the best possible mom and going anywhere with water, a lake, or a beach. She especially enjoys spending time with friends, family, traveling and hiking.
Meet Our Front Office Associates
Karen – Patient Coordinator
Karen has spent more than 8 years in dentistry and considers her co-workers and helping the patients the best things about this job. She loves music, traveling, and spending time with friends. The beach is one of her favorite places to unwind.
Born and raised in Ohio, she has two daughters and three granddaughters that she loves hanging out with on the weekends. One day, she hopes to write a children's book.
Rosy – Patient Coordinator
Born and raised in North Carolina, Rosy has built a rewarding career in Dental Administration over the past 10 years, combining professionalism, compassion, and a genuine passion for helping others. Known for her warm personality and strong work ethic, she takes pride in creating positive experiences for patients.
Outside her professional life, Rosy is a devoted wife and proud momma to four children. A proud North Carolina native, Rosy also has a spirited love for sports, especially volleyball-and is a loyal supporter of the Duke Blue Devils. Whether its cheering on Duke during basketball season or spending time by the pool on a hot sunny day with loved ones, she brings enthusiasm and heart to everything she does.
Ryan – Insurance Coordinator
Ryan graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1999. She went on to complete a medical residency in Pediatrics in Utah, married Dr. O'Leary, raised a family and worked as a local Pediatrician in the Lake Norman area until she retired in 2024. She has now joined our office as the Insurance Coordinator.
Perhaps because of her medical background, she brings a patient-centered approach to her current role. On the weekends, you can find her walking her neighborhood, reading a good book, or working with her favorite local organization, Unity in Community.
